In late March the NJC Employers’ Side for England, Cymru and Northern Ireland made a pay offer of 3.3% on all pay points, from 1 April 2026.
Last week UNISON’s NJC Committee met and agreed very clearly to reject this offer on behalf of members. The Committee was clear that the offer falls significantly short of what members in councils and schools need and deserve.
