UNISON is the lead union for social workers, with over 40,000 social work members. Sadly, social work is a misunderstood role, and members often face a negative portrayal in the media.

UNISON has commissioned a series of films about the importance of social work and how UNISON supports the profession. Working with 3 of our social work members: Angela from Scotland, Evelyn from Cymru Wales & Istvan from England – they talk about the benefits to social workers of being in UNISON. There are also 3 individual films focusing on each member. The films were produced to support our social worker manifesto pledge to promote a positive image of social work.
