Notice of Annual General Meetings & Nominations

The Branch Annual General Meetings will take place between 13 - 20 March 2018.
Meetings have been arranged at Loxley House, Eastcroft & Woolsthorpe Depots and at the Joint Service Centres.
Nominations for Branch Officers, Stewards, Health & Safety Reps and Union Learning Reps must be received by 9 February 2018.

The Local Government Association has made a two-year pay offer for the period April 2018 – March 2020. UNISON will be consulting members on this offer from late January.
What have you been offered?
Key features of the offer
- a 16% pay increase for those currently on the lowest scale point (scp) 6 over two years
- a pay increase of between 15% and 4.3% for those on current scp's 7-28
- 4.04% over two years for those above current scp 29 – including those above scp 49
- a new pay spine from 2019, with new scale points 1-43 and even 2% pay gaps between new scale points 1-22.

Fair Pay Now - Protest 8 December 2017

The Local Government Employers are meeting in December to decide how much they will offer in response to our pay claim and branches have been asked to take part in a national day of protest on Friday 8 December 2017.
We have arranged a joint union protest together with Unite and GMB that will take place at 12.30pm outside Loxley House on 8 December.
